Designing for new life: The 90% recyclable prototype vac is here

Electrolux:  Today during the Circular Initiative 2021 the “2-Infinity” prototype vacuum cleaner will be unveiled by Electrolux in partnership with Stena Recycling. The appliance is close to being fully recyclable, to a level of 90% compared to around 75% for a regular vacuum cleaner on the market. As a next step a small pre-series of up to 300 appliances will be evaluated for production.

News:  During Sunday the secret was revealed outside of the Swedish pavilion - a wooden replica of the iconic knotted gun. Deputy Secretary-General of the United nations Amina J. Mohammed attended the ceremony.

Three course space meal served at Expo

News:  What does a space inspired three course meal contain? During Friday a space lunch was arranged at the pavilion with international astronauts. Dishes like "Fuglesangs rocket and Esrange snow and berries" was served.

Saving rhinos through space technology

News:  During space week children are able to paint wooden rhinos at the pavilion in order to learn more about nature conservation and raise awareness at a young age. Every day three rhinos are poached and a way of protecting them and other endangered species is by using space technology, which was a main focus of the day.
