Launch of Climate smart cities challenge

News:  This week the Climate smart cities challenge is launched on the Co creation stage at the Swedish pavilion. Companies and organizations are competing for the chance of winning 400 000 euros in funding to create climate friendly cities.

Volvo Car Group and Northvolt to join forces in battery development and production

Volvo Cars:  Volvo Car Group intends to establish a joint venture with leading Swedish battery company Northvolt to develop and produce more sustainable batteries, tailored to power the next generation of pure electric Volvo and Polestar cars.

Swedish bus operator chooses Scania electric buses for transport 

Scania:  Scania will deliver six depot charged electric buses to Bergkvarabuss for the operator’s new mission to drive in the area of Strängnäs on behalf of Sörmlandstrafiken. Scania also delivers a complete charging infrastructure to optimise and follow-up on the service and charging of the buses.
