On Thursday the Grand Opening of Expo 2020 Dubai captivated a global audience with its marvellous light shows and artistic performances. But yesterday it was time for the pavilions of the Expo to open their gates and show everyone what they’ve been working tirelessly on for a long period of time. 

The Swedish Pavilion celebrated its inauguration with a small concert by three young, Swedish performers that over the last couple of years have risen to great fame in Sweden, especially with the young audience. Jireel, the youngest performer of the evening at only 21 years old did what he does best and rapped his songs like “Cataleya” and “Man of the Year”. Next in line came the 22 year old rapper Ricky Rich from Västerås that performed some of his famous songs “Ma Cherie” and “Habibi”. They finished the show with an appearance from Cherrie, the 30 year old artist that performed the very songs that made her one of Sweden’s biggest R&B singers. She sang the beautiful songs “Mami” and “Sommardag” that captivated the audience.
