Top executives in pre-Expo Round-Table conversations

News:   Ahead of the Expo 2020 the brightest minds gather in high-level Round-Table-Talks – presenting Swedens’s leading tech and innovation to a global audience.

To restart after the pandemic, and to promote Swedish entrepreneurship, the Swedish government and leading exporting companies are joining forces in Dubai during the world exhibition.

Preparations are intensifying as opening date October 1st is just under three months away.

In September Round-Table-Talks – with leading representatives from the partnering companies – will be produced.

The hour-long conversations will be held in four editions – aligning with the four themes defined by the Swedish Expo committee:

• “Next Generation Travel and Transport & Smart Cities”
• “Circular & Bio-based Economy”
• “Life-Science”
• “Connected Industries & Materials”

Companies such as Mölnlycke, Axis, Polestar and many others are sending top executives to discuss innovation and future challenges and opportunities within each field.

The studio talk-show will be moderated by Kattis Ahlström, one of Sweden’s most experienced journalists and TV hosts.

The aim of the program is to generate vital conversations as the world reopens and gears up for the World Expo 2020 in Dubai.

Johan Westman, Executive Producer of ‘Round Table Talks’, previous CEO of Monkberry and producer of the talk show: ‘Skavlan’, comments:

– The methodology applied in ‘Round-Table-Talks’ is that of a traditional, moderated conversation that is advanced by the presenter. I see ample opportunity for cross talk like on ‘Skavlan’, where questions are constructed so that guests start interacting with each other. That is how the best content develops.

In addition, one-on-one interviews with each participating company will be conducted, with host Kattis Ahlström, to maximise relevant content to aired as Expo 2020 opens in October.
